Studio services
Technical clarity, woven into every surface.
Focused development for design teams, mills, apparel labels, and interior studios moving from visual intent to a fabric that works.
01Yarn weaving logic
Construction begins with the fiber and end use. We develop interlacements, sett direction, float control, face-and-back relationships, and yarn placement to achieve the intended drape, weight, stability, and hand.
Deliverables may include weave maps, repeat logic, yarn allocation, construction notes, and woven-trial review.
02Jacquard card drafting
We translate motifs and artwork into disciplined lift architecture. Drafts account for loom constraints, repeat joins, edge behavior, float length, reversibility, and the practical logic a mill needs to weave accurately.
Deliverables may include card-ready plans, repeat files, binding specifications, and technical annotations.
03Dye color fastness
Color is designed for the fiber, finish, and use—not selected in isolation. We advise on palette construction around expected exposure to washing, rubbing, light, and the neighboring yarn systems within the cloth.
Deliverables may include colorway frameworks, fiber-aware recommendations, test priorities, and trial evaluation.
04Micro-texture construction
Small changes in binding create significant changes in touch and light. We build restrained surface structures for visual depth, grip, softness, relief, and tonal movement without relying on printed effects.
Deliverables may include texture libraries, scale studies, weave variants, and application guidance.
Apparel
Drape, comfort, scale, mobility, and performance against the body.
Soft furnishings
Abrasion, dimensional stability, room-scale repeat, and changing light.
Collaborative development
A defined technical handoff or an iterative partnership through woven trials.
